In Memory of My Wife...

    Lisa Marie, 32, of Effort, died Sunday, March 22, in Overlook Hospital, Summit, N.J. She was the wife of Barry Dawson. They would have observed their 10th wedding anniversary on April 24. Born in Easton, she was a daughter of Susan (Smith) Mendock of Effort and the late F. James Mendock Jr. She had been a supervisor at the Starbucks inside of Great Wolf Lodge in Scotrun for two years. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Vladimir and Drew, both of Effort; a brother, Ty Mendock of Effort; a sister, Maria Kitchen of Blairstown, N.J.; maternal grandparents Ralph and Mary Smith of Columbia, N.J.; paternal grandmother Joyce Mendock of Phillipsburg, N.J.; and grandmother-in-law Betty Williams of Jonas.
