RCN-TV's Gary Laubach on 95.1 WZZO




     Gary Laubach began his broadcasting career with Twin-County in 1972. Twin-County eventually became C-Tec and then RCN. Gary currently holds the dual role of Director of Media Services and Sports Director/Broadcaster. Gary is a graduate of Moravian College with a BS in English Education. He was named the top Scholar-Athlete at Moravian in 1968 and was a member of the National English Honor Society. He received a varsity letter in baseball for four years and basketball for two years. He holds a Masters Degree in Education from Lehigh University where he earned a GPA of 3.82.
    
     Gary
taught high school English for 29 years at Wilson High School and was the English department chairman for many of those years. He, also, served as an assistant principal, the president of the Education Association, and the Chief Negotiator. He was named 'Teacher of the Year' by the student body, an 'A+ Teacher' by the local newspaper, and was named in 'Who’s Who of Secondary Education Teachers'.
    
     Gary
currently does about 140 programs per year as a sports and entertainment broadcaster. He, also, oversees the RCN studio and schedules all sporting events.

     Gary is married and has two daughters and three grandchildren.
